This Frigidaire 4 in 1 portable unit is great. Everything works great. The heat is hot. The AC is cold. Humidifier takes moisture out of the room. It runs very quietly set up was fast and easy. Took about five minutes to connect the Internet and the app on my phone. I can control this unit from my phone even when I™€™m not at home. I like that it has wheels. I can put it in any room very quickly and easily in any window. Thanks Frigidaire for a great product for a great price! I wish I had known about this product sooner no more putting AC in the window in the summer, taking it out every fall. I definitely recommend this product it™€™s so easy to use; a time saver and a back saver.

This portable air conditioning is outstanding. I love using it to cool the garage and sheds when I am working in them. I have even used it in a cabin on a recent camping trip since it was still cold and we needed some extra heat - a truly great feature. It is easy to use since it connects to WIFI and has an app. It is also very quiet and with sleep mode it did not disturb our sleep when using it in the cabin. With multiple fan speeds I get the right amount of air flow I need anytime. The unit is portable and very easy to move from one space to another. The PureAir filter is great at keeping the air fresh and clean, which really helps my allergies.

Humidity and the Heat Never Stood a Chance!

I had never had experience with a portable air conditioner in my life and was concerned about buying one with all the negative information out there on the internet about them, but I took a leap and went with one anyways. I am happy that I did! I originally purchased this unit to use in my garage but had to put it in my bedroom once it came in because of my central unit reaching its end of life. This has worked great so far this summer. My bedroom would stay around 75 degrees all day and this gets it down quickly below 70 within 30 minutes or less. I had to really put it to the test the first day I used it and see if it could reach the potential of a hotel window AC unit (you know what I mean, the kind where you get the best sleep of your life). It for sure gets to that level of cold and comfort! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the support/customer service for the product is definitely lacking. Had difficulty with the unit not connecting to the Internet last couple of days and contacted Frigidaire support. They incorrectly told me that the unit had been dropped from support on the app. I questioned the chat support about this and they directed me to call customer support. The wait time was over 50 minutes, so I hung up. I decided to just not take them at their word and wait it out. It connected back just fine today, so I assume it was actually some sort of outage. When the app works though, it is very convenient. Even with that frustration, if I had to buy it all over again, I certainly would. If you are struggling with a humid and hot home, look no further than this unit here!

This Frigidaire Gallery 4-in-1 Portable Room Air Conditioner has already been a life saver. We just moved into a 4 bedroom house and some of the central AC vents are smaller than they should be so some bedrooms run quite warm. With the heat index at 105 today we were staying cool as cucumbers with this powerful addition. I was surprised this unit is much more quiet than competitors I have used in the past. I can still hear the tv at normal listening volume even with this portable AC on high. I love the functionality of the app and setup was a breeze. I will say remove the box from around the AC, set aside packaging and components. Lift the unit straight up a few inches and scoot the bottom styrofoam/cardboard out of the way. It does weigh in at 93lbs. There are wheels on the bottom that allow it to roll easily (even on thicker carpet.) There were easy to follow instructions for connecting the exhaust hose to the window in a few different configurations depending on your needs. Once the unit is powered on there is a louvre that opens and you can set to direct or indirect. In indirect it raises and lowers aiming the air in a sweeping pattern up and down. I have not yet had the opportunity to utilize the heat function but I look forward to testing it out when the weather changes. There is and indicator light on the front letting you know air quality as well. You can open the app and it shows indoor and outdoor air quality levels. The app also shows humidity and adjust setting for mode, temp, and fan. I am a huge fan of the smart mode fan setting. I set the temp and let it do its thing. There is also a child lock function or touchscreen lockout for the panel controls if you have little button mashers around. If there was one thing I could suggest adding, it would be a remote. I think about older people like my mother with mobility issues and she is not tech savvy. A remote would be a great addition for people in a similar situation.

Versatile machine

The Gallery 4-in-1 Portable Room Air Conditioner has a lot of features that make it a powerhouse. In addition to being a beautifully constructed machine, it blows some refreshingly cold air. Unpackaging this was the most challenging part of the set up. Everything after that was a piece of cake. It rolls easily, and once plugged in, we were off to a nice cooled down living space. Very easy for a first time portable A/C user to set up.I received the unit during a weird weather spell and have had the chance to utilize both the cooling and the heating function and both make noticeable differences. My only frustration is the blower swing goes up and down only without any left and right action, but once this has been on for a little bit it makes very little difference.I would buy this unit again.

Elegant Air Conditioner

This new portable Gallery Edition air conditioner from Frigidaire is a nice looking A/C that can be put in any space and not look like an eyesore. Summer is not officially here yet but the weather has gotten up to the 90's a few times in the past couple weeks and for those days this A/C has been a lifesaver. The A/C works really well and is able to cool my bedroom within ten minutes on high settings and it is not as loud as I thought it would be, on low settings its quiet enough to not be distracted by it. Unboxing the A/C was somewhat annoying because it seems that they packed everything in the box really tightly, which I believe would have benefitted from having a tiny bit bigger box. Installing it was not too bad since it includes all the tools needed to install it in either a horizontal or vertical window. Once everything was set up and the unit was turned on it started blowing out ice cold air which felt great. I like the white LED display on the unit that is easy to read and use to control it, and it doesn't come with a remote but can be controlled wirelessly with the app which is more convenient since you wont likely lose your phone all the time. I also like the fact that the unit has a heat function that would allow it to be used in winter time, but I haven't been able to test it out since the weather is warm already. Another somewhat annoyance that I found with my unit, which to me looks off, is that when the A/C is off and the vent is closed, the gap between the vent and top looks uneven, looking more wider on the right side which can be seen in pic 2.

Workhorse with nice features

I hooked this up to our living room window and man does it make a difference. Cools it down very quickly and quietly. Love being able to use wifi to turn it on when away from home or even when I™€™m on the couch. The air conditioner is very well made. Also, easily moveable with the caster wheels and handles on the sides if you ever need to lift it. Where the air blows out there is a lid that tilts up automatically when turned on, such a nice feature especially to keep anything out of the unit when not being used or in storage. Other quality-of-life features are the ability to buy filters for it and I like how it turns off some of the lights when you put it into sleep mode, thankful they thought of that.

Awesome little unit

I purchased this to cool and heat a small 'she-shed' for the wife, as living up north it gets hot and cold out. Once installed, its awesome due to the fact that it hooks up to wifi so I can heat or cool the room before going out to the shed. Its quiet, does the job quick, and no issues at all. The wifi feature is great! We can fire up the AC or heat from the house and then a few minutes later, its perfect to do what we need to do. Its also very quiet so can work in the work area and not be bothered. Would highly recommend for any type of small room or building that needs to heat and cool

I live in East Texas where the heat can be brutal, and I put this unit to work right away. Setup was quick and easy, and I was honestly surprised by how fast it cooled the room down. I used it daily in a smaller bedroom, and it kept the space consistently cool and comfortable™€"even during the hottest part of the day.I also tested it in the garage during the afternoon, just to see how it would perform in a bigger, less insulated space. Started cooling my room instantly!

My husband and I followed the instructions to mount the window panel for the cooling exhaust, then I started to use it for cooling my office immediately. The central AC in my house has trouble cooling off my office because it™€™s an annex that doesn™€™t have great return flow. This unit started cooling down my office instantly! In Austin, we can get temperatures into the 90s in spring, so this is much needed. In the winter, I™€™ll be needed heat in this room as well, so I like the various modes this unit has ™€" heat, cooling, dry, fan. There™€™s 3 different fan speeds, which will be handy when I™€™m on a call. And there™€™s a timer, which is great because I always forget to turn things off when I leave this room. The design is great, very sleek, looks fine in the corner. So happy with this purchase!!
